Rolec WallPod:EV Home Range

With more than 25 variations available the WallPod:EV home charger range provides you with low-cost, entry level electric vehicle charging in both Mode 2 and Mode 3 formats. The range is designed to be compatible with all current PHEVs and EVs, the WallPod:EV is the UK’s favourite charging point, with over 50,000 in use throughout the country. The range provides Mode 3 fast charging in both 3.6kW and 7.2kW, as well as superfast 11kW and 22kW, speeds.

THE EV CHARGING UNIT POWERED BY THE SUN

The WALLPOD:EV SolarCHARGE is an exciting new product from Rolec EV which combines the industry’s leading domestic charging unit with the home’s solar energy generation system - helping the user to save even more money and further reduce their carbon footprint. WALLPOD:EV SolarCHARGE constantly monitors the energy generated by the sun via the home’s solar panels, in conjunction with Grid energy consumption.

Save Money | Reduce your Carbon Footprint

The electric vehicle’s consumption of both Grid and solar energy is then reported to the EV driver via the charge point’s digital display screen, along with a live calculated percentage of the amount of charging provided by the sun.

The unit can also be used as a stand-alone EV charger, allowing the homeowner to install it and charge purely from the Grid in anticipation of a future PV installation.
